10月23日(木) 15:30 -- 17:00 王 振男 (国立台湾大学・数学系) ``Unique Continuation for the elasticity system'' <研究発表要旨> In this talk, I would like to discuss some unique continuation theorems for the elasticity system. I will go over three main results. First of all, I will mention the unique continuation thereom for the 2D an isotropic system with Lipschitz coefficients satisfying some generic conditions. It turns out the isotropic system satisfies these generic conditions. The main ingredient in the proof is the reduction of the second order elastic system to the first order elliptic system of two variables. Secondly, using the same reduction, we can prove the strong unique continuation property for the 2D isotropic system with Lipschitz Lame parameters. Finally, I would like to mention a recent result on the unique continuation theorem for the strongly elliptic system in any dimension higher than and equal to two. This talk represents several joint works ewith Nakamura, Uhlmann, and Lin.
