10月2日(木) 15:00 -- 16:30 卓 建宏 (京都大学数理解析研究所) ``On the finite difference approximation for parabolic and hyperbolic blow-up problems.'' <研究発表要旨> We first consider the semilinear heat equation u_{t}=u_{xx}+f(u) (00) and its finite difference analogue. We show the convergence of the numerical solution and the numerical blow-up time. Moreover, the numerical blow-up sets, which are somewhat different to the blow-up set of PDE, are classified for several nonlinear terms. We apply the idea of the parabolic one to the semilinear wave equation u_{tt}=u_{xx}+u^2 (00).
