7·î31Æü(¶â) 13:30 -- 15:00 Prof. Chisup Kim (Catholic University of America) ``Mortar method for the P1 nonconforming quadrilateral elements.'' ¡ã¸¦µæÈ¯É½Í׻ݡä We analyze a mortar finite element method for second-order elliptic problems using the P1 nonconforming quadrilateral elements introduced by Park and Sheen [SINUM, 41 (2003), 624-640]. We establish the same order of convergence as in the standard nonconforming method. The multiplier space, which plays an important role in both the implementation and the analysis of the mortar method, will be discussed in detail.
