2月4日(木) 15:00 -- 16:00 Sebastien Loisel (Heiot-Watt University, Scotland) ``Optimized Schwarz Methods'' <研究発表要旨> Solving boundary value problems is an important challenge in many applied fields such as mathematics, physics and engineering. For difficult boundary value problems, a lot of computational power is required. Such problems can be solved on clusters of thousands of computers. In this talk, we will discuss domain decomposition methods as a way of parallelizing the solution of boundary value problems. We will focus on optimized Schwarz methods, which speed up the convergence by allowing discontinuous iterates. Loisel氏については、以下のURLもご参考にして下さい。 http://www.math.temple.edu/~loisel/
