5月24日(木) 15:00 -- 16:00 劉太平教授 (京都大学、中央研究院数学研究所(中華民国)) ``Invariant Manifolds for Steady Boltzmann Equation.'' <研究発表要旨> The invariant manifolds for the steady Boltzmann equation are constructed. For the case of non-resonance, the construction is based on the Green's function approach. At the resonance cases when the Mach number at the far field is near zero or one, there are the wave patterns containing the Knudsen-type layers and fluid-like waves, and singular bifurcations occur. Because of the infinite dimensional nature of the Boltzmann equation, there are new elements besides the center manifold theory for the differential equations.
