数値解析・応用解析セミナー 2月22日(木) 15:300 -- 16:30 申 東雨 (大韓民国 国立ソウル大学) ``Simple iterative finite element methods for Darcy's flow.'' <研究発表要旨> This presentation continues to introduce a series of our recent development of simple hybrid methods. In this talk, we propose a simple iterative method for obtaining the solution of finite element methods for the flux variable for Darcy's flow. In particular, our method recovers the flux approximation of the mixed finite element method without using any primary variable approximation. Thus, the resulting linear system is substantially smaller than that of the mixed finite element method. Moreover, our method requires to solve a system whose coefficients are symmetric, positive definite matrices, whose solutions can be obtained using several existing solvers. The pressure variable is then approximated by using the Helmholtz decomposition. Convergence of the iterative method is shown and numerical results are presented.
